Icelandic artist Silja Rós has once again graced our ears with her latest single, “Honey…,” released on October 27th. This enchanting track marks the third installment from her forthcoming album, scheduled to make its debut in 2024. “Honey…” is more than just a melodious composition; it’s a heartfelt musical odyssey, meticulously crafted and inspired by a story that tugs at the heartstrings.

The song features a group of skilled musicians, including Kristófer Nökkvi on drums, Magnus Dagsson on guitar and Rhodes, and Baldur Kristjánsson on bass. The final touches were masterfully added by Sigurdór, known in the music world as Skonrokk.
The inspiration for “Honey…” struck Silja Rós when she stumbled upon an old song she had penned at the tender age of 16. She’s currently working on several exciting projects, including her role as one of the four writers for the highly anticipated TV series “Skvíz,” slated to premiere next Easter on the Icelandic Channel Síminn. What’s more, she’s taking on one of the lead roles in the series.
Silja Rós humbly expresses her gratitude, saying, “I feel truly blessed to be able to do what I love every day.” The journey leading to “Skvíz” began in LA in 2018 when she, along with Tanja Björk and Hlín Ágústsdóttir, set out to craft the story.
