Sometimes, a single moment can change the way we see everything. A new connection can restore hope, soften the weight of difficult experiences and remind us that life still holds possibilities we may have stopped expecting. On “When Love Walks In,” the Jimi Bennett Band explores this transformative power of love, offering a song rooted in faith, healing and the possibility of a fresh beginning.

Released on October 17, 2026, the single centres on the belief that love can reach us even after life’s most challenging moments. Rather than presenting love simply as a romantic ideal, the band approaches it as a force capable of changing hearts, renewing faith and helping people find their way forward. The message is closely tied to the group’s Christian faith, giving the song a spiritual dimension that extends beyond the experience of falling in love.
At the heart of the track is the idea that transformation does not always arrive through dramatic gestures or carefully planned changes. Sometimes, it begins with the unexpected arrival of someone or something that makes life feel different. The song invites listeners to consider how love can shift their perspective, offering reassurance when circumstances have left them feeling uncertain or discouraged.
That emphasis on emotional connection is central to the band’s creative philosophy. As Jimi Bennett explains, music can touch hearts in ways that words alone cannot. With “When Love Walks In,” the intention is to offer listeners a reminder that hope and healing remain possible, even in the darkest moments. The song’s memorable melody supports that accessible message, keeping the focus on its emotional purpose.
The recording process also played an important role in shaping the release. Recorded in Bennett’s home studio, the track developed in an environment where the musicians could experiment freely and concentrate on capturing the feeling behind the song. The personal setting allowed the trio to work through the details of the recording at their own pace, prioritising authenticity and emotional expression.
The Jimi Bennett Band brings together three musicians with substantial and varied experience. Bennett, a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and preacher, previously founded the national recording band Sacred Fire and toured the United States with Christian rock acts Petra and Mylon LeFevre & Broken Heart. He later joined Rex Carroll of Whitecross to form King James, touring across the US and Europe.
Guitarist John Davis brings a long history of songwriting and performance, having founded Last Generation and For You Brother. His work has received equipment endorsements from Peavey, Washburn, ADA and DigiTech, while his catalogue of more than 200 songs has received international exposure through radio, television and film-related placements. On keyboards and piano is Jean Carllos Lemes Miranda, a self-taught musician and Latin Grammy winner who joined Brazilian rock band Oficina G3 at 21 and recorded on 11 albums that collectively sold more than five million copies.
Together, the musicians bring decades of experience to a song whose message is straightforward but meaningful. “When Love Walks In” is a reminder that love can offer more than temporary comfort: it can become the beginning of a different outlook on life. With the band now pursuing bookings and festival appearances, the single introduces a project united by the desire to create music with emotional and spiritual significance.
